Maso Awards Are back again 2023

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

We are calling for the general public to nominate artist(s)/Individuals in different categories for Maso Awards 2023.
To nominate;
2.Chose category
3. Type the name of the artist(s)
Notice: Only one vote per category.
Nominations ends on 7th October 2023.

ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE MASO AWARDS 2023 CATEGORIES

We are so delighted to inform you that the Maso Awards 2023 categories are now out! New categories include;
1. Best hip-Hop Act
2. Best DANCE-HALL Act
3. Best RnB/Pop Act
4. Best Afro soul/Jazz Act
5. Model of the year(Female)
Categories that have been set aside include:
1. Manager of the year (this will be considered under the artists of year categories)
2. Movie of the year
3. Actor and actress of the year
For the movie and actor/actress of the year categories we have decided to set them aside because the process of nominating and assessing movies and actors/actress is quiet complex and requires proper expertise. We are glad that Film Association of Malawi – FAMA through FAMA Awards has the categories on their list and we fully support and endorse them.
Nominations (First phase of voting) we will start on the 18th of September, 2023.
Then final round of voting will start from 17th October – 17th November.
All artists should keep a proper headshot, preferably with a white background that can be used on posters, website and nomination rolls just incase you are nominated. Send your headshots in advance through info@maso-awards.live.
